Appointment of new Company Secretary

The Board of Serco Group plc (Serco) is pleased to announce the following
appointments. Joanne Roberts, currently Company Secretary, has been appointed
to the role of Commercial and Finance Director in Serco's newly created UK and
Europe division. John Hickey, currently Serco's Tax and Treasury Director, will
become Company Secretary effective from 15 May 2012, following Serco's Annual
General Meeting. John joined Serco in 2003 from KPMG where he worked in a
variety of senior roles, having previously qualified as a chartered accountant
with Ernst & Young.

Alastair Lyons, Chairman of Serco Group plc, said: "On behalf of the Board I
would like to offer our thanks to Jo for her excellent support over many years.
We wish her well in her new role within Serco. I also offer my congratulations
to John. He knows and understands our business well, having joined our
management team nine years ago, and I look forward to working with him as the
Group's new Company Secretary."
