Notification under Part 22 of the Companies Act 2006

Please note that on 25 April 2007, Slough Estates plc (the "Company") was
notified that AXA Investment Managers Limited, acting as agents for its
discretionary clients hold (either directly or indirectly) a beneficial
interest and a non-beneficial interest of 24,471,983 ordinary shares of 25p
each representing a total interest of 5.18% of the issued share capital of the
company.
