Sampo plc (business code 0142213-3) has on 28 March 2007 received a disclosure
under Chapter 2, Section 9 of the Securities Markets Act, according to which
the total number of Sampo A shares and related voting rights owned by Morgan
Stanley (reg.nr.2068222) has on 26 March 2007 risen above one twentieth (1/20)
of Sampo plc's entire stock and voting rights.
