Sage completes acquisition of North American business management software
vendor ACCPAC

Further to its announcement of 23 December 2003, The Sage Group plc yesterday
completed its acquisition of ACCPAC International Inc. ('ACCPAC'), all
necessary conditions of the transaction having now been met.

ACCPAC is a vendor of a suite of business management solutions including
accounting and customer relationship management software for small and
medium-sized businesses.
