Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
4 September 2007 it purchased 250,000 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume
weighted average price paid per share of 588p. The highest price paid per share
was 588p and the lowest price paid per share was 588p. Rightmove purchased
these shares via UBS Limited.

Rightmove has purchased, 250,000 of its own shares since announcing the second
tranche of its share buy-back programme on 3 September 2007. The shares
purchased have been transferred into treasury. Following the above purchase,
Rightmove holds 1,968,838 shares in treasury.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 130,720,523.
