Rightmove plc ("Rightmove"), the UK's no. 1 property website, announces that on
26 August 2008 it purchased 62,518 of its 1p ordinary shares at a volume
weighted average price paid per share of 302.5943p for Cancellation. The
highest price paid per share was 308.125p and the lowest price paid per share
was 296.75p.

Rightmove has purchased, to date 11,854,535 of its own shares since announcing
a share buy-back programme on 28 December 2007.

The total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding treasury shares) at the
date of this announcement is 117,545,443. Rightmove holds 2,505,430 shares in
treasury.
