12 June 2013 Reckitt Benckiser Group plc DIRECTORATE CHANGE It is with regret that Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (RB) today announces the resignation of Graham Mackay as a director, and the Senior Independent Director, with immediate effect. As was announced by SABMiller plc in April, Mr Mackay has recently undergone surgery for a brain tumour and is now receiving further treatment. As a result, Mr Mackay has expressed a wish to reduce his business commitments and has tendered his resignation to the RB Board. Adrian Bellamy, Chairman of RB, commented: "Graham has been a valued member of our Board and our Remuneration Committee since February 2005 and we thank him for his immense contribution and wise counsel over the last eight years. We also thank him for acting as our Senior Independent Director since November 2006. We fully respect and understand his decision to step down from the Board and I, on behalf of the Board and I am sure also on behalf of our shareholders, wish him well as he continues his treatment. Our thoughts are with him and his family." Following Mr Mackay's resignation, with immediate effect the Board has appointed Andre Lacroix as the new Senior Independent Director. Mr Lacroix, the current CEO of Inchcape plc, has been a director of RB since October 2008 and is a member of the Audit Committee.
