17 July 2008 BOARD CHANGES Reckitt Benckiser Group plc (RB.L) today announces the appointment of André Lacroix as an independent non-executive director, such appointment to take effect from 1st October 2008. André Lacroix (48) is Group Chief Executive of Inchcape plc, the world's leading car retailer. Prior to joining Inchcape he was, from mid 2003 to 2005, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Euro Disney and spent seven years with Burger King where he was President of Burger King International (previously Diageo) from mid 2000 to mid 2003. From 1988 to 1996 he held a series of senior marketing, sales and general management roles at Pepsi Cola. He is currently also Chairman of Good Restaurants AG. Adrian Bellamy, Chairman of Reckitt Benckiser Group plc, commented "The Board is delighted that André has agreed to join us. Reckitt Benckiser Group plc also announces the resignation today from the Board of Gerry Murphy. Gerry Murphy joined the Board in June 2005 for an initial 3 year term. In the light of his other business commitments, Dr Murphy has decided not to accept a further 3 year term as a director and has accordingly stepped down from the Board.
