Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 21 January 2009 that following a transaction on 6
January 2009 Newedge Group (UK Branch) has decreased its notifiable interest in
the voting rights to below 3% of the voting rights in the issued ordinary share
capital of Pendragon.
