Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 16 January 2009 that following a transaction on 13
December 2009 Barclays PLC has decreased its notifiable interest in the voting
rights to below a notifiable percentage of the voting rights in the issued
ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
