Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 7 January 2009 that following a transaction on 5
January 2009 Credit Agricole Cheuvreux International Limited has decreased its
notifiable interest in the voting rights to below 3% of the voting rights in
the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
