Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 6 January 2009 that following a transaction on 5
January 2009 Legal & General Group Plc (L&G) has decreased its notifiable
interest in the voting rights to below 3% of the voting rights in the issued
ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
