Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 6 January 2009 that following a transaction on 5
January 2009 Trefick Limited has a notifiable interest in the voting rights
over 81,433,290 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 12.41% of the voting rights
in the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
