Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 17 October 2008 that following a transaction on 16
October 2008 Axa SA has decreased its notifiable interest in the voting rights
to 32,445,862 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 4.95% of the voting rights in
the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
