Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 01 September 2008 that following a transaction on 29
August 2008, Schroders Plc. has a notifiable interest in the voting rights over
35,317,897 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 5.38% of the voting rights in
the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
