Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 2nd January 2008 that following a transaction on 28th
December 2007 Deutsche Bank has a notifiable interest in the voting rights over
46,230,965 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 7.05% of the voting rights in
the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
