Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 6 August 2008 that following a transaction on 5
August 2008 Citigroup Global Markets UK Equity Limited has decreased its
notifiable interest in the voting rights to 17,541,565 ordinary shares of 5p,
representing 2.67% of the voting rights in the issued ordinary share capital of
Pendragon.
