Pendragon advises that, pursuant to the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency
Rules, it was notified on 17 September 2008 that following a transaction on 16
September 2008 Axa S.A has a notifiable interest in the voting rights over
39,445,862 ordinary shares of 5p, representing 6.01% of the voting rights in
the issued ordinary share capital of Pendragon.
