On 6 February 2004 AEGON UK plc Group of Companies confirmed that, following a
recent transaction its total notifiable interest in the ordinary shares in
Pendragon has increased to 4,862,538 shares, which represents 3.71% of
Pendragon's issued share capital.

On 6 February 2004 Schroder Nominees Limited confirmed that, following a recent
transaction its total notifiable interest in the ordinary shares in Pendragon
has increased to 12,039,867 shares, which represents 9.18% of Pendragon's
issued share capital.
