On 5th July 2002 Jupiter Asset Management Limited notified the Board of
Pendragon that following recent transactions its total notifiable interest in
the ordinary shares of Pendragon has increased to 5,587,776 shares now
representing 9.61% of the total issued share capital of Pendragon PLC.
