Personal Group Holdings Plc ("the Company") operates an Inland Revenue approved
Company Share Ownership Plan (CSOP) which allows certain directors the
opportunity to purchase shares in the Company currently held by Personal Group
Trustees Limited.

On 7 May 2004 options under the Company's selective CSOP were awarded as
follows:
