Following the sale of 1,000,000 ordinary 5p Parity Group plc shares on 7th May
2003, this is to advise you, in accordance with Section 198 of the Companies
Act 1985, (as amended by Section 134 of the 1989 Act), that Henderson Global
Investors and its associated companies (acting as agent for its discretionary
clients) now hold (either directly or indirectly) 19,952,631 ordinary 5p shares
in Parity Group which represent 12.96% of the issued share capital of
153,969,570.

Please be advised that within this sale 363,408 shares were sold for Henderson
Smaller Companies Investment Trust whom now hold 6,250,408 which represents
4.06% of the issued share capital.
