Result of Annual General Meeting

New Star Investment Trust plc is pleased to announce that all resolutions put
to the Annual General Meeting held today, 17 November 2010, which were set out
in the Notice of Meeting, were duly passed on a show of hands.


Copies of all resolutions passed as Special Business at the Meeting will
