Purchase of shares for cancellation

Matrix Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 24 June 2008, it purchased a
total of 108,275 Ordinary Shares of the Company for cancellation at a price of
89.046 pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 21,279,171 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
