Matrix Income & Growth 2 VCT plc announces that on 24 August 2007 it purchased
329,658 Ordinary Fund Shares at a price of 74.00 pence per share for
cancellation.

Following this purchase there are now 11,711,489 Ordinary Shares of 1 pence and
9,145,990 C Ordinary Shares of 1 pence in issue.
