MAJEDIE INVESTMENTS PLC

The Company has been advised of the following transactions:

The Lady DH Barlow Will Trust (a family trust in which William Barlow, a
director of the Company, has an interest) on 18 June 2008 purchased 50,000
ordinary 10p shares in the Company at a price of 336.5 pence per share and on
29 September 2008 purchased 65,000 ordinary 10p shares in the Company at a
price of 258.0 pence per share. As a result William Barlow's beneficial holding
has increased to 1,520,137 Ordinary shares of 10p each (representing 2.89% of
the issued class of capital).

The non-beneficial interests of William Barlow remain unchanged.
