Director/PDMR Shareholding

MAJEDIE INVESTMENTS PLC

The Company has been advised that Mr J William M Barlow, a Director of the
Company, acquired on 1 February 2006, 16,000 ordinary shares of 10p each
(representing 0.03% of the issued share capital) at a price of 341.00p each.

As a result of this transaction Mr J William M Barlow is now deemed to have a
beneficial interest in 1,254,857 shares, representing 2.39% of the issued share
capital.

J William M Barlow's non-beneficial holding remains unchanged.

This announcement is made in accordance with Section 324 of the Companies Act.
