Liontrust Asset Management plc ('the Company') has been notified on 23 April
2004 of dealing in the Company's ordinary shares as follows:
William Carey, Nigel Legge and Andrew Yates, directors of the Company, are
participants in the Company's Employee Share Ownership Plan (the 'ESOP') and on
22 April 2004 were allocated 96 ordinary shares each at a price of 393p per
share.
William Carey's total interest following this notification is 1,007,588
ordinary shares or 2.88% of the total issued share capital of the Company.
Nigel Legge's total interest following this notification is 880,474 ordinary
shares or 2.52% of the total issued share capital of the Company. Andrew Yates'
total interest following this notification is 483,055 ordinary shares or 1.38%
of the total issued share capital of the Company.
