The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. - voting rights and capital

The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. announces that the Corporation's issued
share capital at 31 August 2007 consists of 117,737,213 ordinary shares with
voting rights. This follows an allotment of 4,700 shares made on 28 August in
connection with the Corporation's Sharesave Option Scheme. There are no other
classes of share capital and none of the Corporation's issued shares are held
in Treasury. Therefore the total number of voting rights in The Law Debenture
Corporation p.l.c. is 117,737,213.

The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the
calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their
interest in, or a change to their interest in, The Law Debenture Corporation
p.l.c under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
