Fifth Floor 100 Wood Street London EC2V 7EX APPOINTMENT OF A NEW DIRECTOR, RETIREMENT OF CHAIRMAN The Corporation is pleased to announce that Mark Bridgeman has been appointed a Non-Executive Director of The Law Debenture Corporation p.l.c. with effect from 15 March 2013. He spent 19 years with Schroder plc as an analyst and then fund manager, rising to become Global Head of Research. Previous roles at Schroders included Head of Pan European Research, Head of Global Sector Research, and Emerging Markets Fund Manager. During his career, he enjoyed successful long term secondments in Australia and the United States. Mark left Schroders in 2009 to manage a rural estate and farming business in Northumberland. He retains close links with the fund management industry and is a non-executive director of JP Morgan Brazil Investment Trust, The Eastern European Trust plc (managed by Blackrock), and North East Finance (Holdco) Limited, a venture capital fund of funds targeting SMEs in the North East of England. He is also on the boards of two charities. The Corporation also announces that Douglas McDougall has decided not to offer himself for re-election and will therefore stand down as a director and Chairman at the conclusion of the Annual General Meeting on 10 April 2013. He leaves with the sincere thanks of the board after 15 years' of dedicated and professional service during which he has made an incomparable and indelible contribution to the success of Law Debenture.
