                              Additional Listing                               

ITM Power Plc announces that 19,000 new Ordinary Shares of 5p each ('New
Ordinary Shares') have been issued and allotted following an exercise of
options by employees of the Company.

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange for the New Ordinary
Shares, which will rank pari passu with the existing shares in issue, to be
admitted to trading on AIM, and admission is expected to become effective on 8
September 2005.
