HEADLINE: Voting Rights and Capital

In conformity with the Transparency Directive's transitional provision 6 we
would like to notify the market of the following:

Following the purchase today of 66,750 ordinary shares, Invesco Perpetual UK
Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc's issued share capital consists of
61,955,929 ordinary shares of 20p each with voting rights.

The above figure (61,955,929) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Invesco Perpetual
UK Smaller Companies Investment Trust plc under the FSA's Disclosure and
Transparency Rules.

This Voting Rights and Capital announcement supersedes the Voting Rights and
Capital announcement released earlier today.
