Correction : Total Voting Rights

The issuer wishes to advise of a correction to the Total Voting Rights
 announcement of City Merchants High Yield Trust Ltd released earlier today. 
The announcement incorrectly referred to ordinary shares of 2p each instead 
of ordinary shares of nil par value.

Further to the commencement of trading in the shares of City Merchants High
Yield Trust Limited as of 2 April 2012, we would like to notify the market of
the following in conformity with Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1R:

City Merchants High Yield Trust Limited issued share capital consists of
72,786,327 ordinary shares of nil par value.

The above figure (72,786,327) may be used by shareholders as the denominator
for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to
notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, City Merchants High
Yield Trust Limited under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
