HEADLINE:   PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 14 July 2016, it purchased for cancellation 26,243 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 207.45p per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 3,277,224 ordinary shares held in treasury and 84,511,095 ordinary shares in circulation.  The total number of ordinary shares in issue is 87,788,319.
