HEADLINE: PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 29 January 2014, it purchased for
cancellation 50,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 152p per share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 3,277,224 ordinary shares held in
treasury and 88,996,323 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
ordinary shares in issue is 92,273,547.
