HEADLINE: PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 30 August 2013, it purchased for
cancellation 250,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 154.5p per
share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 3,277,224 ordinary shares held in
treasury and 89,775,017 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
ordinary shares in issue is 93,052,241.
