HEADLINE: PURCHASE OF ORDINARY SHARES FOR CANCELLATION

Invesco Asia Trust plc announces that on 15 November 2012, it purchased for
cancellation 1,150,000 ordinary shares of 10p each at a price of 143.727p per
share.

Following this transaction, the Company has 3,277,224 ordinary shares held in
treasury and 105,911,686 ordinary shares in circulation. The total number of
ordinary shares in issue is 109,188,910.
