HEADING: Change in Director's Details

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.13, the Board of INVESCO Asia Trust plc
announces that Mr James Robinson, has been appointed a non-executive director
of Aberdeen New Thai Investment Trust plc with immediate effect.

As previously announced, Mr Robinson has been appointed a non-executive
Director to the Board of INVESCO Asia Trust plc to take effect from 3 January
2007.
