HEADING: Director's Details

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.14, the Board of INVESCO Asia Trust plc
announces a change in one of Sir Robin McLaren's existing other directorships.

With effect from 10 November 2006, Gartmore Asia Pacific Trust PLC changed its
name to Aberdeen All Asia Investment Trust PLC. Also, the company's manager was
changed from Gartmore to Aberdeen Asset Management Asia Limited.
