Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 29 May 2012 it purchased for
cancellation 121,816 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 89.34
pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 46,198,253 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
