Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 27 May 2011 it purchased for
cancellation 256,731 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 88.964
pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 41,026,382 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
