Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 13 September 2010 it purchased
for cancellation 183,445 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of
84.59 pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 37,013,469 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
