Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 14 January 2011 it purchased for
cancellation 230,038 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 88.5
pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 36,443,724 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
