Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 4 August 2010 it purchased for
cancellation 92,641 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 77.95
pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 37,257,606 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
