Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 9 March 2012 it purchased for
cancellation 150,000 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 88.5
pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 43,519,355 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
