Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 21 July 2010 it purchased for
cancellation 103,388 of the Company's own Ordinary Shares at a price of 75.0
pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 37,350,247 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
