Transaction in the Company's own shares for cancellation

The Income & Growth VCT plc announces that on 1 June 2010 it purchased for
cancellation 70,950 of its Ordinary Shares at a price of 70.4 pence per share.

Following this purchase the Company now has 37,859,020 Ordinary Shares in
issue.
