Cancellation of Treasury Shares
In accordance with the provisions of LR 12.6.4 the Board of Hays plc advises
that on 9 February 2006 it cancelled 85,000,000 Ordinary shares currently held
in Treasury.
Following the cancellation Hays plc holds 75,995,458 Ordinary shares in
Treasury and has 1,488,101,108 Ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury
shares).
