TRANSFER OF TREASURY SHARES
In accordance with the provisions of Listing Rule 12.6.4, the Board of Hays plc
advises that on 12 March 2010 it transferred 1,600,000 Ordinary Shares of 1p
each held in Treasury to the Hays plc Employee Share Trust in connection with
the Group's share plans.
Following this transfer, Hays plc holds 80,391,782 Ordinary Shares of 1p each
in Treasury and the number of Ordinary Shares of 1p each in issue is
1,383,704,784 (excluding Treasury Shares).
