CORRECTION TO PREVIOUS ANNOUNCEMENT
CANCELLATION OF TREASURY SHARES
In accordance with the provision of LR 12.6.4 the Board of Hays plc advises
that on 19 October 2007 it cancelled 100,000,000 Ordinary shares held in
Treasury.
Following the cancellation Hays plc holds 40,337,674 Ordinary shares in
Treasury and had 1,423,758,892 Ordinary shares in issue (excluding Treasury
shares).
